The Elk River Reservoir: Tim's Ford Lake and State Park

Considered one of the most picturesque lakes in Tennessee, Tim's Ford Lake is regarded as one of the top bass fishing and recreational lakes in the Southeast. Angler's can also land both rainbow and brown trout in the 14-mile stretch of river below the dam. Walleye are caught during the winter and spring. The 10,500 acre lake is home to many RV campgrounds affording ample opportunity for campers to find a last-minute spot.
